💻 Electronics term

Grade A

A common label for used or refurbished items in very good condition, usually with little or no visible wear. Grading standards differ between sellers, so check the listing.

Why it matters

Condition grades help you compare used items, but there is no universal standard, so the same label can mean different things.

🇸🇬 In Singapore

There is no official grading standard for used devices in Singapore, so a ‘Grade A’ label from one seller may not match another. Your rights under the Lemon Law still apply when you buy from a business.

Tips before you buy

  • Ask for real photos of the actual unit.
  • Read the seller’s own grading definitions.
  • Check battery health and any marks around ports.
