About the Samsung Z Fold 6 Battery
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July 2024 (model SM-F956B). It has a 7.6-inch foldable main screen and a 6.3-inch cover screen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, a fingerprint reader in the side power key and IP48 water resistance. Its 4,400 mAh capacity is split across two cells, one in each half, with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Because the battery sits in both halves of the hinge-linked body, the back glass is removed carefully and the folding screen is protected throughout the job. Faster drain when using the main screen is the most common reason owners bring it in.
