🤝 Selling & Business term
Done-for-you selling
A service where a partner sells your products, services or vouchers to consumers on your behalf. The partner creates the listing, presents the product, promotes it and sends you the orders or bookings, while you keep your stock and deliver as usual.
Common questions
How is this different from a sales agent?
A sales agent usually works its own contacts, often for corporate or bulk orders. A done-for-you selling partner builds and promotes a listing that reaches consumers who are already shopping or searching.
How is it different from consignment?
With consignment, your stock sits in someone else’s shop. With done-for-you selling, you keep your stock and fulfil each order or booking yourself.
What can be sold this way?
Products, service packages and vouchers, such as massage and spa vouchers, salon packages, classes, food bundles and gift sets.
Why it matters
It lets busy owners hand over the listing, marketing and selling without building a website or hiring a sales team.
🇸🇬 In Singapore
Done-for-you selling suits spas, salons, studios, food businesses and shops that sell to the public. For service vouchers, clear terms matter: CASE has warned consumers about large prepaid packages, so smaller, clearly described vouchers build trust.
Tips
- Agree the price, what is included and how orders reach you.
- Make sure photos show the real product.
- Check how and where your offer will be promoted.
